Near the village and on the territory of the village are archaeological monuments of the Bronze Age .
Content
History
In 1587 , the 12th Voronezh Watchman was founded at the mouth of the river.
“The 12th watchman on the Nagai side of Don behind Voronezh on Betyuk, the mouth of Chamlyk, will pass two bottoms from the city, and one and a half versts from three hundred miles from the mouth of Chamlyk to the top of Tsna and Dachpur, and one and a half versts from one hundred, and move to Sakma that Sakma go Zavolsky Nagay from Kaziyev ulus and Azov people to the sovereigns of Ukraine in Ryazan and Ryazan and Shchattsky places; and from the mouth of the Chamlyk to the top of Gava pass to the left, drive through the bottom, and estimate the distance from seventy miles, and the Sakmas with whom the Sakmas go to the sovereigns of Ukraine to the Ryazan and Ryazan and Shattsky places; but they are sent to those watchmen of the guards by people, how many people will be in Voronezh ” [2] .
In 1705 , the nedorlis from the city of Livny settled here [3] .
In 1739 , residents supported the uprising of Dementius Zarubin [4] .
In 1769 , Johann Anton Guldenstendt investigated the vicinity of the village [5] .
According to the information for 1859, the village of Nikolsky Chamlyk (Livenschino) - 1537 people lived. There was a church, a mill [6] .
In 1861 , the stone church of Nicholas the Wonderworker was built [7] and a consecration took place [8] .
In 1931 there was a major anti-kolkhoz uprising in the village.
Armed with pitchforks, scythes and even rakes. It was decided to act, and a huge crowd went to Chamlyk-Nikolskoye. There, too, the collective farmers went into the field for mowing winter crops. Seeing the angry mob, activists fled. The rebels broke into the village council building. They ruthlessly tore the documents and the summer wind spread pieces of paper around the village. Horsemen appeared, driving through the streets, shouting: “Down with the Soviet power! Down with the collective farms! ” [9] .
In 2002, excavations were carried out on the kurgan of a log archeological culture (led by E. N. Melnikov [10] ) [1] . At the Institute of Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the appearance of a woman found in a barrow was recreated [11] .
