Yusuf Ibrahgimovich Krymshamkhalov ( Karach.-Balk. Yusuf Krymshauhal , born November 16, 1966 [1] , Erken-Shahar , Stavropol Territory ) - a terrorist who organizes apartment bombings in Russia .

Occurs from the Karachai princely family of the Krymshamkhalovs . He was trained in the Khattab camp near Serzhen-Yurt .
In September 1999, he was the direct perpetrator of terrorist acts in Moscow , which resulted in the death of 228 people. Personally, delivered the explosive used for the explosion of residential buildings from Kislovodsk to Moscow.
In February 2000, he was preparing terrorist attacks in Rostov-on-Don , Krasnodar , Pyatigorsk , Moscow and St. Petersburg , but most of the members of his group were detained in the Stavropol Territory and convicted. Then he disappeared into Chechnya , from there he moved to Georgia , in 2002 he was detained and extradited to Russia. On January 12, 2004, the Moscow City Court sentenced Krymshamkhalov to life imprisonment . [2]
He is serving life imprisonment in a special regime penal colony in Solikamsk [3] .
