The administrative center is the village of Maslovo .

Geographic data

  • Total area: 159.2 km²
  • Finding: the western part of the Torzhok region
    • Borders:
      • in the north - with the Rudnikovsky joint venture and Nikolsky joint venture
      • in the east - with the Borissevsky joint venture
      • in the south - with the Sucromlene joint venture
      • in the west - with the Kuvshinovsky district , Pryamukhinsky joint venture , Borkovsky joint venture and Prechisto-Kamensky joint venture .

In the north and west of the settlement (along the border), the Osuga River flows. The settlement passes through the railway from Torzhok to Soblago and the highway Torzhok - Ostashkov .

History

In the XI-XIV centuries. The settlement territory belonged to Novgorod land and was part of the “urban volost” of the city of Torzhok . In the XV century it was annexed to the Grand Duchy of Moscow .

  • After the reforms of Peter I, the territory of the settlement included:
    • in 1708-1727 to the St. Petersburg (Ingermanland 1708-1710 biennium) province, Tver province,
    • in 1727-1775 to the Novgorod province , Tver province ,
    • in 1775-1796 to Tver governorship , Novotorzhsky district,
    • in 1796-1929 to the Tver province , Novotorzhsky district ,
    • in 1929-1935 to the Moscow region , Novotorzhsky district,
    • in 1935-1963 to the Kalinin region , Novotorzhsky district,
    • in 1963-1990 to the Kalinin region , Torzhok district ,
    • since 1990 in the Tver region , Torzhok district .

In the middle of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries, the villages of the settlement belonged to the Prechistokamensky, Nikolskaya and Sukromlensky volosts of Novotorzhye district .

It was founded in 2005 and included the territories of Maslovsky and Tupikovsky rural districts.

The villages disappeared on the territory of the settlement: Afanasovo, Gridino, Malye Butivitsa, Paltsyno; farms Yelizovo, Manilovo, Sands, Hlypino and others.

  •   In the village of Selikhovo was born the Hero of the Soviet Union, tanker Anatoly Loginov .
  •   Alexander Alekseevich Kuznetsov, pilot, polar explorer, Hero of the Soviet Union, was born in the village of Shcherbovo .
