History
In 1934 - 1937 , the district was part of the North Don Region as part of the Azov-Black Sea Territory .
September 13, 1937 Skosyrsky district (with a center in the village of Skosyrskaya ) became part of the Rostov region .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 6, 1954 , the Kamensk Region (with its center in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky ) was allocated from the Rostov Region. The territory of Skosyrsky district became part of the Kamensky region.
In 1956 , the Skosyrsky district was abolished. Its territory entered the Tatsinsky district of the Rostov region .
