Krihіtka (lit. "Baby", referring to the character of the fairy tale by E. T. A. Hoffman " Baby Tsahes, nicknamed Zinnober ") is a Ukrainian musical group. It was founded in Kiev in 2007 as a project of Sasha Koltsova (Kasha Saltzova), Nikolai Matkovsky, and musicians Dmitry Mrachkovsky and Alexander Zlenko, former members of the group “ Krihka Tsahes ”.

The group is often defined by the audience as indie pop rock, pop rock, indie pop. The vocalist Sasha Koltsova is one of the most expressive voices on the Ukrainian independent stage. The participants of Krikhitka claim that they do not work within the framework of one particular genre, but note the influence of such styles as grunge, triphop, punk-rock. And in various sources, among their musical landmarks and favorite teams, such groups as Cure , Deftones , Incubus , Skunk Anansie , Massive Attack , Bjork , Muse , Radiohead , Lamb , Nine Inch Nails , Sigur Ros , The White Stripes are named .

History
2007-2008
On November 16, 2007, the group performed at the Khleb club together with the pork band Sausage Workshop, where they played a program of punk versions of the songs Krikhitki Tsakhes and Krikhitki.
The vocalist of the group, Kasha, took out a loan to record the album in the Sharks of Business show program, the group began cooperation with sound producers Yuri Khustochka , Dmitry Shurov and Ilya Galushko.
In 2008, the team initiated a social campaign “Torba-Prirody”, directed against the irrational use of plastic bags, and released a line of eco-bags “Do not pack with plastic”. At the winter-autumn 2008/09 collection show, the famous Ukrainian fashion designer Lilia Poustovit used the Krikhitki print “Don't Pack at Plastic” on her eco bags.
In the same year, the Ukrainop TNMK collective's album “ReFormatSіya-2” was released with a cover of “Krikhitki Tsahes” for the song of the group “Ascend”. "Krihіtka", as the heir to the collective copyright, included the concert number "Ascend" in its program.
March 30, 2008 the group first performed in Kiev club "SkyHall". The concert of the group was attended by over 400 people.
In March 2008, Kasha Saltsova received the Nepops Music Award as Best Vocalist. In June 2008, the group was one of the headliners of the Seagull festival (the group strangely performed in front of Amatory ).
In July, at the Kiev radio stations Jam FM, Radio Rocks and Simply Radio, the first single of the album “Recipe”, “Alo-ale,” was launched.
In summer, the group also visited several Ukrainian cities and took part in the Gulyai-Pole and Eco-energy festivals. In October 2008, the group took part in the international festival Moloko Music fest (Line-up - Esthetic Education , Adam Beattie and the consultants, Alina Orlova , Schastya, Prozori, Johnny Bardo, CoMaha).
In November, the group gave a series of concerts in Western Ukraine as part of the Ascension Tour.
2009
On January 16, 2009, the group gave their first recital with songs from the new Recipe program. The group’s performance at the Lavra was attended by over 600 people. The group has a public microblog: @kryhitkaband .
In February, at the first all-Ukrainian music television channel M1 , the premiere of the clip “Shchos Zrazok” took place.
March 28, 2009 the group took part in the environmental campaign “Vimkni svitlo. Uvіmkni muzyku "and arranged an acoustic concert in the old greenhouse of the Botanical Garden named after M.M. Grishko.
On May 30, Krychka protested against the closing of one of the oldest Kiev cinemas, Kinopanorama, with a recital in the hall of the building. The Recipe album hit the Internet before the official release.
On August 6, the band gave a concert in the premises of the Golden Gate Museum where they performed a cover of the KAMON group !!! - "Brunette"
Comp Music, a music company, sued the band members to transfer the rights to the Recipe album.
The band left the bassist Dmitry Mrachkovsky, "Krihіtka" announced an open casting, which was attended by 36 musicians. Several subsequent concerts, "Krihіtka" played with casting members and colleagues from other groups.
In autumn, the group gave a joint concert with the Serbian-Ukrainian collective Shopping Hour as part of the Gogolfest festival and performed at the Cosmopolitan Heels festival. On December 1, MTV Ukraine aired the short film “Embrace Me” dedicated to the HIV / AIDS issue, in which three members of Krivichki starred as themselves. A new member, bass player Stas Galan from Odessa, has joined Krikhitka on an ongoing basis.
December 26 released the debut album of the group "Recipe". The first to receive the disc was the visitors to the concert in the capital's club Sullivan Room.
2010-2011
In the spring of 2010, "Kryhіtka" conducted a tour of Ukrainian cities in support of the album, and also took part in the Masterclass program of the 44 club. In June, the group's vocalist, Kasha Saltsova, lost her voice for several months and was undergoing treatment. The group canceled performances at several festivals. In September, “Krikhitka” was one of the nominees from Ukraine for the MTV EMA award in the category “Best Ukrainian Artist”. For the first time in Ukraine, the group presented stereo and 3D photo shoots. In November, the group returned to the stage and gave several solo performances.
In the spring, the group announced on its website the action “Bring the group to your city” - a city in which there are 150 people who want to come to the group’s concert, he invites the team through personal email voting on the site. The first concerts of “Krikhitki” were commissioned by the audience in Lviv, Vinnitsa, Chernihiv, Bila Tserkva and Ivano-Frankivsk. In the spring of 2011, “Krychka” performed the first song “Donor” for the first time at the Tripilske Kolo festival. In the summer of 2011, the group first performed the song “Boy for Heartbeat” at the festival “Zahid”.
2012
On September 2, with a concert in the Tolstoy club, the band said goodbye to guitarist Nikolai Matkovsky. In October, the group unveiled the single, "Boy for Heartbeat."
2013
The group recorded a single Ukrainian. “Mauger buti” (lit. “Maybe”) and released a release of Ukrainian. “Boy for heartbeat” (lit. “Boy for a heartbeat”) through the CrowdREfunding system - the audience compensated for the cost of creating the recording, and the musicians uploaded the tracks to the network for free distribution.
2014
The group recorded a single Ukrainian. "Visiting" (lit. "Business card"), dedicated to the Internet meme "Business Card of Yarosh . "
2015
The group recorded the single "Tsvіtka", to the verses of Markiyan Shashkevich from the repertoire of Salome Krushelnitskaya. The single “Without Name” was released, dedicated to the volunteer movement in Ukraine.
