“ Sex and the City ” is a popular American cable television series widely broadcast in many countries of the world, including Russia . The series was shot in the format of 25 minute episodes in 1998-2004 and tells about the sexual adventures of four girlfriends aged about 30 at the beginning of the series and 40 towards its end, different in character and temperament, but united by free outlooks on life in a dynamic atmosphere of New York . In 2008, the premiere of the feature film "Sex and the City" based on the series was premiered. The series was shot on the basis of the same-name newspaper column Candes Bushnell .

Content
Story
A major publisher suggested Carrie release a book consisting of her articles. At her publisher, a woman meets a writer Jack Berger ( Ron Livingston ). They have a great time, but, as it turned out, Berger has a girlfriend and they have a serious relationship. Carrie realizes that she was wrong again.
Miranda offers Carrie to become Brady's godmother, and Charlotte begins to be a little jealous, as she hoped to be a godmother for her child herself, but then her jealousy quickly passes and she tries to help Carrie and Miranda.
Samantha does not trust Richard and is very jealous of him. Having decided to follow him, she discovers him in bed with another woman. Richard glosses over his sins with expensive gifts and apologizes. Samantha forgives him, but begins to actively succumb to Richard, as her pride is hurt.
During the divorce proceedings, Charlotte meets lawyer Harry Goldenblatt ( Evan Handler ), who was chosen on the basis of the “shark of his own business” and “anti-attractive man” with whom only business is possible. So their relationship continues, Samantha is jealous of Richard for each skirt, but considers herself very old for jealousy and endless checks of Richard, who still does not trust, and below his dignity to do it at all. Samantha breaks up with Richard, deciding that in her life there will be men only for sex.
Time passes, and Carrie begins to suffer without sex and decides to take a desperate step. She makes an appointment with the Man of her dreams and goes to him in San Francisco, California. He is sincerely glad that Carrie has arrived and praises her first book. Carrie gets what she went for and returns to New York. She did not count on a serious relationship with the Man of her dreams.
