Mikhail Pavlovich Drinevsky ( Belorussian. Mikhail Pavellavich Dryneusk ; born February 12, 1941 , Tonezh, Lelchitsky district , Gomel region , Belorussian SSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Belarusian musician , art director and chief conductor of the National Academic Folk Choir of the Republic of Belarus named after G. I. Tsitovich . Honored Artist of the Belarusian SSR (1978). Laureate of the State Prize of the Belarusian SSR (1982). People's Artist of the Belarusian SSR (1987).

Biography
Mikhail Drinevsky was born on February 12, 1941 in the village of Tonezh, Turovsky District, Gomel Region (BSSR).
At the age of 13, he began working as the head of the choir of the Trud collective farm in the village of Tonezh.
Education
In 1959 he entered the Gomel School of Music, which he graduated in 1963. During his studies, Mikhail Drinevsky worked with the folk choir of the village of Pribyty in the Gomel region, the children's choir of the Palace of Pioneers in Gomel.
In 1963 he entered the Belarusian State Conservatory. A.V. Lunacharsky (class A.P. Zelenkova ), after which he was sent to work at the Minsk College of Music.
Since 1973, M. Drinevsky is the chief choirmaster; since 1975, he has been the artistic director of the G. I. Tsitovich National Choir of the Republic of Belarus.
Awards and titles
Mikhail Pavlovich Drinevsky - Honored Artist of the BSSR (1978), laureate of the State Prize of the BSSR (1982), People's Artist of the BSSR (1987), awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1986), the Medal of Francis Skorina (1990), and the Order of Francis Skorina (2002).
