Viktor Ivanovich Buturlin (born June 28, 1946 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian film director , screenwriter and artist. Honored Artist of Russia (2004) [1] .

Biography
In 1972 he graduated from the directing department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography ( LGITMiK ) (workshop of I. Grinshpun). In 1981 - the workshop of Nikita Mikhalkov at the Higher Courses of scriptwriters and directors . He worked as a director in the Ivanovo and Leningrad theaters of musical comedy . Since 1981, director of the film studio Lenfilm . In 1984 he directed the film “ Applause, Applause .” For "Deadly Force" Victor Buturlin shot the first two episodes.
Now Viktor Ivanovich Buturlin lives in St. Petersburg . Married, has three daughters.
