NGC 4945 (other designations - ESO 219-24 , AM 1302-484 , IRAS13025-4911 , PGC 45279 ) - a spiral galaxy with a jumper ( SBc ) in the constellation Centaurus . It is quite similar to our Galaxy , however, X-ray observations show the presence of a Seyfert nucleus , probably containing an active supermassive black hole . The galaxy is pretty close to ours. It is one of the brightest galaxies in the nearby group of galaxies Centaurus A / M83 , located in that subgroup, which has Centaurus A as its center [2] [4] .
