The population is 480 inhabitants. On the territory of the village is the Zorinovka railway station, related to the Southeast Railway (Russia), located on the "Ukrainian section" of Gartmashevka - Chertkovo railway line Moscow - Voronezh - Rostov-on-Don. Due to the fact that the village is located on the border, it experiences problems with water supply, since there is no water supply from other settlements in Ukraine, and the supply of water from the territory of Russia creates bureaucratic difficulties [1] .
