History
This woodland was in the possession of the Italian royal Savoy dynasty in the second half of the 19th century; there was a royal residence ( 1872 - 1878 ). In 1878, the land was acquired by Count Tellfner from Switzerland , who renamed the villa in honor of his wife Ada [3] . The Savoy dynasty regained control of these lands in 1904 , but the name remained the same; possession continued until the liquidation of the monarchy in 1946 .
Current status
In 2009, the park was divided into public and private areas. The public is controlled by the Council of Rome; private - by the Embassy of Egypt , although the city council put forward a demand to regain control over the entire territory [4] . The private area is under the constant patrol of the police or the army.
