NGC 4725

NGC 4725 (other designations are UGC 7989 , MCG 4-30-22 , ZWG 129.27 , KUG 1247 + 257B , IRAS12478 + 2545 , PGC 43451 ) is a spiral galaxy with a jumper in the constellation Veronica Hair . It is located at a distance of about 40 million light years from Earth. NGC 4725 is a Seyfert galaxy , it is assumed that there is an active galactic nucleus containing a supermassive black hole . The galaxy is the brightest representative of the group of hair galaxies Veronica I.
