Route
The route runs completely through the territory of the Adler district of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory . It has an older section through the villages of Kamenka and Galitsyno , which was part of the route before the construction of the Cossack Brod Tunnel.
History
The highway was built in 1891 - 1898 according to the project and under the guidance of mining engineer V.K. Konstantinov on the site of a narrow pack trail. Asphalted in Soviet times.

The road has a carriageway width of 12 m. The nature of the coating is asphalt concrete. The route of the road passes in a wooded and mountainous-wooded area. The climate is subtropical. The track has a gradual rise relative to sea level. Until 2005, one of the sections of the road had one-way traffic and was regulated by traffic lights .
