The daughter of the artist Wojciech Kossak . Studied at the Academy of Arts in Krakow .

The poetry of Pavlikovskaya-Yasnozhevskaya evolved from vitalistic optimism (collections of Castles in the Air, 1922, Pink Magic, 1924, and others) to alarming and catastrophic motifs (collections of Raw Silk, 1932; Ballet of Convolutions, 1935; Poetic sketches ”, 1938, etc.); its graceful lyrical miniatures are characterized by sophistication of thought, aphorism, restrained irony. She also wrote dramas and comedies.

At the beginning of World War II she lived in France, from June 1940 - in the UK, where she published collections of poems permeated with homesickness “Rose and the Burning Forests” (1940), “Sacrificial Pigeon” (1941).
