I became acquainted with Cameron in the mid-1970s. in the field of science fiction . In 1978, Cameron, Wisher and their friend Randell Freyks shot an amateur 12-minute film "Xenogenesis" , where Cameron became the director, and Vischer played the lead role - Cyborg Raj.
Wisher was one of the first to whom Cameron told the Terminator idea. He took part in writing the first part of the script (additional dialogues in Sarah’s talking scenes with a friend and the police scenes) and became the main screenwriter of the second. In both films, he played cameo roles. In the first film, a policeman from whom Terminator steals a car. In the second - the surprised visitor photographing the Terminator in the gallery. This gives the scene additional meaning, since it can be assumed that the surprise is caused not only by the strange behavior of the Terminator, but also by the fact that the visitor recognizes him.
