Biography
Born in 1791, came from nobles of the Serpukhov district of Moscow province .
He was admitted to military service on May 16, 1810 as a cadet in the Life Guards Ulansky Regiment , on June 15 of the same year he was promoted to military cadet .
Produced in cornet on November 20, 1811, Karacharov the next year took part in repelling Napoleon’s invasion of Russia .
For the difference in the battle of Chernishna, Karacharov was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree.
November 9, 1812 he was awarded the Order of St. St. George 4th degree (No. 1083 according to the chevalier list of Sudravsky and No. 2450 according to the list of Grigorovich - Stepanov)

On March 7, 1814, he was wounded during a reconnaissance to Arsi-sur-Ob , but did not leave the system, and on March 11, at the battle of Sompui, Karacharov was killed by buckshot in the chest.
