Geography
It is located in the southeast of the district, 35 km from the Tisul district center on the Kinzhir river of the same name , with an altitude of 359 m [2] . It is connected by bus with the cities of Mariinsk and Sharypovo [3] .
Toponymy
One of the variants of the origin of the name: perhaps the first part of the toponym Kin dates back to the Turkic Keng - “wide”, “extensive”, and the element fat, also to the Turkic cher - “land”. Then Kinzhir - "vast land" [4] .
History
It was founded in 1897 by immigrants from Mordovia. He was part of the Dmitrievsky volost of the Mariinsky district of Tomsk province. From 1920 to 1925 - in the Tambarovskaya volost of the Mariinsky district. Since 1925 - as part of the Soldatkin Village Council of the Tisulsky District.
