Gameplay

Arkomag is a computer card game for two players. Each player has a random set of 6 maps, a tower, a wall, three types of resources and their sources. Resources:

  • bricks
  • gems
  • the beasts

Sources of resources (respectively):

  • career
  • magic
  • dungeon

At the beginning of each turn, sources increase the amounts of the corresponding player resources to the current levels of these sources. Each turn a player must use or discard one of his cards. To use the card requires a certain amount of one of the resources. After use, the card performs a combination of some actions and instead of it, the player is randomly given another to the player. Further, if the card does not prescribe otherwise, the move goes to another player. Map Actions:

  • causing damage to the wall and / or tower (the enemy or both the enemy and his own)
  • change in the amount of resources or levels of their sources in themselves and / or the enemy
  • increasing your own walls and / or towers

The rules of the game allow for victory in any of the following ways:

  • building your tower to the required minimum
  • accumulation of any resource to the required minimum
  • destruction of the enemy tower

As a rule, maps that require the same type of resources are similar in action. Gems - an increase in the tower, bricks - the walls, animals - to cause damage to the enemy. Damage can be directed specifically at the tower or wall, or have a general character. In the second case, the wall first takes damage, then the tower.

Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor

Here the player could play Arkomag, only by purchasing a deck of cards for her. The game is available from the second location (castle Harmondale). To find the deck, the player must complete a quest, in which you need to find the brother of the gambler.

Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer

  • Here the player can play this game from the first location (Island of the Dagger's wound), he does not need a deck of cards for this, and there is also a task related to the game, according to which the player must play at least once and win in all the taverns of Jadam.
