James “Jamie” Metcalf Campbell Bower ( born James November 22, 1988, London , UK ) is an English actor , model, and musician known for his roles as Anthony Hope in Tim Burton 's movie Sweeney Todd, The Demon Hairdresser from Fleet Street , the bloodthirsty vampire Kai Volturi in the film adaptations of the series of novels Stephanie Mayer Twilight , the young wizard Gellert Green de Wald in the film adaptation of the first part of J.K. Biography
Jamie Campbell Bower was born in London [1] ; mother - Ann Elizabeth Roseberry, music manager, father - David Bauer, top manager of Gibson Guitar UK , has a younger brother Samuel "Sam" Bauer, who is studying for music manager in Copenhagen , and since 2015 is a member of the Counterfeit group created by Jamie. Jamie's maternal ancestor was Sir John Campbell, vice governor of the state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines .
He attended Bedales School in Hampshire with a focus on creative disciplines including art, design, acting, music, and was a member of the National Youth Music Theater [1] and the National Youth Theater. “My parents realized that it was my nature to play. I went to the youth theater and disappeared there. Until the age of 16 he participated in every performance. ” At the age of 15 he took part in Roger Waters' opera “Ca Ira in Rome” - “I thought that my heart belongs to the musical theater. I wanted to be a sort of West End star ” .
Jamie also worked as a model at Select Model Management in London [1] .
Career
Jamie's career began in 2007 when a friend of the Laura family, Michelle Kelly, introduced him to her agent. While still at school, he got the role of Anthony Hope in the movie Sweeney Todd, a demon barber from Fleet Street , in which he starred with Johnny Depp , Helena Bonham Carter and the same Laura Michelle Kelly. The following year, he appeared in Guy Ritchie ’s film “Rock and Roll” [2] . And in 2009, starred in the role of the vampire Kai of the Volturi clan in the movie " Twilight. Saga. The New Moon ” [3] . Also this year, starred in the series "Prisoner" - an American remake of the eponymous English series of the 1960s [4] . Jamie played the hero’s son Ian McKellen.
