Konda (konda-dora, kubi) is the language of the people of Porja , belonging to the Dravidian language family . Distributed in India in the states of Andhra Pradesh , Orissa , Assam [1] . Telugu writing is used. The number of speakers is 20,000 people (2007). The literacy rate among the speakers can range from 29 to 44%. For many of Pourge, Telugu is the mother tongue. The tribe of portja belongs to the adivasi - the native population of India.
