  Rowing

Rowing competitions at the 1948 Olympics were held at the rowing center in Henley-on-Thames , where the Royal Regatta competitions are held annually. Due to the insufficient width of the rowing canal in one race no more than three boats could start. In the next round only race winners passed from each race.
