Denisovsky is a village in the Repairnensky district of the Rostov Region . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Denisovsky rural settlement .

Content
History
Established as a stallion farm. The foundation date of the farm has not been established. In 1929, the central farmstead of Skotovod No. 2 farm was located in the farm, and since June 1930, the meat-and-farm farm No. 16, Remontnensky. In July 1939, the Denisovsky Soviet was organized (since 1959 - the Village Council) [3] .
In August 1942, the village was occupied. Released in January 1943. During the period of occupation, the state farm ceased its economic and production activities, livestock were evacuated, documents on the activities of the state farm were destroyed. After the liberation of the Soviet Army, the state farm resumed its activities. On April 28, 1946, a power station and a radio center were commissioned in the village. In 1949 a seven-year school was opened (since 1970 - a secondary school). In 1984, a new model school building was opened [3] .
Physico-geographical characteristics
The village is located in the southeast of the Zimovnikovsky district within the Salsko-Manych ridge, which belongs to the Ergeninsky Upland, which in turn is part of the East European Plain, on the right side of the Denisova Balk (the right tributary of the Chikalda River), at an altitude of 91 m above sea level [4] The terrain is hilly-flat. Complicated by the ravines and second-order gullies extending from the Denisova beam. In the vicinity of the village there are ponds [5] . The soil is chestnut. The parent rocks are sands [6] .
By road, the distance to the regional center of Rostov-on-Don is 400 km, to the nearest city of Elista of the Republic of Kalmykia - 93 km, to the district center of the village of Reconstruction - 33 m [7] .

The climate is temperate continental (according to the Köppen-Geiger climate classification - Dfa). The average annual air temperature is + 9.4 ° C, the average temperature of the coldest month of January is 4.8 ° C, the hottest month of July is + 24.2 ° C. The estimated long-term rainfall is 369 mm. The least amount of precipitation falls in February and March (22 mm each), the largest in June (48 mm) [4] .
