Career

North America

In 2002 , despite the fact that he was not drafted, he signed a contract with the Boston Bruins due to his successful performance in the Ontario Hockey League in 1998-2002 for the Self Storm. In 2002-2005, he played in the AHL for the Boston Farm Club Providence Bruins (84 points in 208 matches).

In the NHL, the Boston Bruins made his debut at the age of 24 in the 2005/06 season. Over the course of the season, he was traded to the St. Louis Blues . Kevin began the 2006/07 season already at the Los Angeles Kings , where he played 87 matches in regular championships over two years. In total, he played 154 matches in the NHL and scored 31 points (8 + 23).

KHL

In 2008, he signed a contract with Kazakhstan's Barys from the KHL .

In the first season of 2008/09, he broke the record for defenders in the USSR / Russia championships (58 points in 53 matches - 28 goals [2] and 30 assists) and achieved the title of best defense player of the entire KHL. The following season, he scored 42 points (14 + 28) in 55 matches. Participant in matches of all KHL stars of the seasons 2008/09 , 2009/10 , 2010/11 and 2011/12 .

In 2010, information appeared that Dallman was going to accept the citizenship of Kazakhstan in order to play for the national team of this country in the international arena [3] . It was planned that Kevin would be able to take part in the World Cup in May 2010, but the issue of obtaining citizenship was somewhat delayed.

In May 2012, Dallman signed a contract with SKA St. Petersburg . In January 2013, Kevin Dallman received the citizenship of Kazakhstan, which allowed him to debut for the national team of Kazakhstan in the qualification tournament of the 2014 Olympic Games. Dallman also played at the 2014 World Cup in Minsk and in 2015 the 1st division of the World Cup in Krakow . July 17, 2017 Kevin re-signed the contract with Barys for 2 seasons.

On August 5, 2019, he announced his retirement [4] .

Family

Kevin's Uncle Marty Dallman (born 1963) was also a hockey player, played 6 matches for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the late 1980s, then played in Europe, and in 1994, as part of the Austrian national team, he participated in the Olympic Games in Lillehammer .

In September 2012, a third child was born to Kevin and his wife Stacy - son Jackson. His older brother's name is Noah Michael, and his sister is Ava Lilly. [5]
