Études Celtiques (abbreviated as ÉC) is a French scientific journal dedicated to the issues of Celtology, Celtic languages and the archeology of Celtic tribes, published by the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) .
It was founded in 1936 at the initiative of Joseph Vandries as a continuation of the magazine Revue Celtique (RC), published in 1870-1934. The editors of the magazine at different times were Leon Fleurio, Paul-Marie Duvall, Michelle Lejeune. Currently, the editor of Études Celtiques is French celtologist and archaeologist of Czech origin Wenceslas Kruta. The main language of the articles is French; publications in English, German and Italian are also allowed. The latest issue at the moment (No. 36) appeared in 2008.
