Biography
Club career
A pupil of the Sofia “ Slavia ”, he began to study in the team at age 12, at the age of 16 he began to train in the main team [2] . At 17, he made his debut in the championship of Bulgaria [2] , September 7, 2001 in a match against the Sofia “ Lokomotiv ” (0: 1). In “Slavia” he played together with such players as Blagoy Georgiev and Dimitar Rangelov .
In the summer of 2005, he moved to the German " Hannover 96 ", on loan. He could also go to " Lazio ", " Olympic Marseille " and " Galatasaray " [2] . In the summer of 2007, it was bought back for $ 1,300,000 and signed a four-year contract [2] . In the summer of 2009 was leased to Duisburg , for 100 thousand euros.
In January 2010, he moved to Donetsk Metallurg , signing a contract for a period of two and a half years [3] . He made his debut in the Premier League of Ukraine on February 27, 2010 in an away match against Uzhgorod Zakarpattya (0: 1) [4] .

His father worked as a policeman, his mother also worked in the civil service [2] . Chavdar has a younger sister [2] .
