Story

Blinded by love, Tom is ready to do everything for the Tudles.
Tom's rival, Butch, sings the Tuffles Serenade.

It all starts with the fact that Jerry is trying to tease Tom so that he chases after him. But no matter how much Jerry teases him, Tom doesn't notice it. Jerry even tears out a piece of Tom's skin - and the cat does not respond to this either. Tom is in love, he watches the young cat, Tudles, and all is absorbed only in her. Then Jerry, overwhelmed with rage, at the instigation of the evil side of his soul (a green devil mouse with a trident, horns and pointed ears reminiscent of Tom's ears) sends a perfumed fragrance to Butchu's cat-catworm on behalf of Tudles. Butch reads the letter: “Dear cat, I always liked your word-for-word (Butch reads a word by syllables, it is too difficult for him). Check me in for tea at three o’clock. Yours, in love with no memory, Tudles. " The cat becomes agitated, “induces beauty”, and goes to the garden where the kitty is. To Butch's chagrin, Tom is already caring for the cat. And then a serious fight is played out between the cats. Butch lays down on a deck chair next to the Tudles and tries to look after her, but Tom hits him with a croquet mallet. Butch answers Tom by throwing the cat into the pool . The furious Tom crawls out of the pool and throws the Butch the kitten serenading there. Butch also leaves the pool and scores a croquet ball in Tom's head. The cat falls and Butch starts playing croquet with Tom instead of the ball. As a result, Tom falls on a barbecue and fries himself. Butch continues to courtship for the Tudles. Jerry, still angry at Tom, puts a needle under a hammock. Butch says to the Tudles: “You know, baby, I think the Cupid’s arrow is piercing me now,” sits on a hammock ... and jumps in pain. Just at that time, Tom approached the Tudles, and the landed Butch thinks that it was Tom who planted the needle. The chase begins, during which Butch hits his head against a statue and falls into an empty pool. Finally they run up to the swing , Tom puts a pot on them and sends the swing to Butch. The swing falls into Butch, but when they swing forward, Tom accidentally clings to the swing. The swing goes back to Butch, and he hits Tom with his guitar, like a real baseball player . As a result, Tom loses to Butch, having flown outside the garden. After failure, Tom meets Jerry. Tom and Jerry start a chase (not without joy), but they didn’t play together for long: the chase abruptly ends, and Tom has another love picture: Jerry flirts with a young mouse. A loving little mouse pushes the surprised Tom away from him and hugs his newfound lover.
