Kui (kandhi) is a Khond language belonging to the Dravidian family of languages . Distributed in India in the state of Orissa . The Oriya script is used. The number of speakers is 641,662 people, the 29th language by the number of speakers in India ( 1991 ). Khondas are adivasi , the indigenous people of India. The Khond tribe speaks, besides the Kui language, the closely related Kuwi language .
