The flag was approved on June 28, 2006 and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 2472.
Description
“The flag of the municipality Volosovsky city settlement of the Volosovsky municipal region of the Leningrad region is a rectangular panel with a ratio of flag width to length - 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the municipality of the Volosovsky city settlement of the Volosovsky municipal district of the Leningrad region in green and yellow colors.”
The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In an green field, an old man sitting on a golden damask throne in long old Russian clothes, holding on his lap a harp on which his right hand is laid, and in his left hand is a staff. Because of the throne on the sides, the emerging bull to the right and the bear to the left. All figures are golden . ”
