Geography
The village is located 16 km (by road) northeast of the regional center - the village of Plyussa .
Population
The population of the village was 46 inhabitants as estimated at the end of 2000 [2]
There are 42 houses in the village. Layout - an arcuate street facing north. Two-sided building, with wooden houses. Some of the houses are located separately and form a "farm". In the center of the village there is a well with quality drinking water.
History
In the XIX century, the village was part of the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas and the Miracle Worker in the village of Modolitsy, Luga district, St. Petersburg diocese [3] .
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied and liberated in February 1944 [4] .
Transport
The nearest railway station ( Lyamtsevo ) is at a distance of 2 km.
Communication with the district center is via a country road.
