A beating is a crime in which the immediate object of the crime is the bodily integrity of a person . The objective side of the crime is expressed in the infliction of multiple blows (beatings or other violent actions ), which may result in abrasions , bruising and other consequences not provided for by the laws of the country, in particular the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (in the Russian Federation) [1 ] . The process of beating is called beating.

Responsibility for crime in different countries
Azerbaijan
Pursuant to Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, intentionally beating or committing other violent acts that caused physical pain , but did not cause short-term health disorder or minor loss of general working capacity , are punishable by a fine of up to two hundred minimum wages , or community service up to two hundred and forty hours, or correctional labor for up to one year, or imprisonment for up to six months [2] .
Armenia
In accordance with Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia , beatings or other acts of violence that did not entail a short-term health disorder or a slight permanent loss of general working capacity , is punishable by a fine of not more than one-hundred-and-a-half minimum salary one year, or arrest for a term not exceeding two months [3] .
Georgia
In accordance with Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, beatings or other violence that caused physical pain to the victim, but did not cause a short-term disorder or a minor or unstable loss of general working capacity, are punished with a fine or socially useful labor for a period of one hundred and twenty to one hundred and eighty hours, or correctional work up to fifteen months, or arrest for up to two months [4] .
Latvia
In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Latvia, intentional infliction of bodily injury that did not cause health problems or loss of general working capacity (slight bodily injury), as well as intentional beatings that did not cause these consequences, is punishable by arrest or forced labor , or a fine to ten minimum monthly wages [5] .
Russia
In accordance with Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation , beating or performing other violent actions that caused physical pain, but did not cause a short-term health disorder or slight permanent loss of general working capacity, is punishable by a fine of up to forty thousand rubles or in the amount of the salary or other income of the convict for a period of up to three months, either by compulsory work for a period of up to three hundred and sixty hours, or by corrective labor for up to six months, or arrest for up to three months.
The same acts committed out of hooliganism or based on political, ideological, racial, national, religious hatred or enmity, or based on hatred or enmity against any social group are punishable by compulsory labor for up to three hundred and sixty hours, or by correctional labor for up to one year, or restriction of freedom for up to two years, or forced labor for up to two years, or arrest for up to six months, or imprisonment for up to two years [6] .
Estonia
Pursuant to Section 113 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Estonia, intentional infliction of light bodily injury, as well as deliberate strikes, beatings, or other violent acts on a person that cause physical pain, are punished with a fine or arrest [7] .
