History

The street was named after the Kamer-Kollezhsky shaft, of which it was a part, and along the village Preobrazhenskoe . Until 1922 it was called Preobrazhensky Chamber-College Shaft. [1] Initially, a bridge across the Khapilovka River [1] , which was later removed into the collector, separated the street from Izmailovsky Val. Now the Elektrozavodskaya railway line is laid along the river valley.
