Aplotarsus is a genus of click beetles from the subfamily Prosterninae .

Description
Nutcrackers of small and medium sizes, mainly painted in black and brown. Clypeal region narrow, often interrupted. The antennae of the male and female from the third segment are weakly sawtooth, often almost filiform. The rear edge of the pleura with a recess. The femoral tires of the hind coxae taper outward slightly and slightly unevenly. All segments of the legs are simple [2] .
