Akalaha [1] ( obsolete. Ak-Alakha [2] ) is a river in Russia , in the Kosh-Agach region of the Altai Republic . Length - 126 km [3] .

When merged with the river, the Jazator forms the Argut River. It is a catchment for all rivers of the Ukok plateau.
It originates from the Kanassky glacier of the northern slope of the Southern Altai ridge, west of the Kanas pass.
The height of the source is 2370 [4] m above sea level. The height of the mouth is 1531.4 [5] m above sea level.
In the river valley on the Ukok plateau there is a burial mound of the Pazyryk culture Ak-Alakh-1 [6] .
