The nearest railway station is 18 km in the Ryazan - Uzunovo section.
History
Before the revolution, the village was called Zheleznikovo and was divided into two parts. One part belonged to the mistress Obukhovskoy , and the second Strogonov . After the revolution, the Strogonovs left their property. The houses that belonged to rich people were torn down. Lands and gardens were transferred to the state farm . After the collapse of the USSR, the gardens became abandoned.
