History
The Ozyorsk village council existed on the territory of the Shchigrovsky district after World War II .
In June 1954, pursuant to the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR "On the enlargement of rural Soviets", the villages of the abolished Krutovsky Village Council were included in the Ozyorsk Village Council [2] .
By the decision of the Shchigrovsky executive committee of February 15, 1960 No. 48, the Ozyorskiy village council was abolished, and its settlements were transferred to the Melekhinsky village council [2] .
In 1967, the Krutovsky Village Council was re-formed, in which, in April 1978, the village of Plodovy was registered [3] .
In September 1979, the Ozersky Village Council was restored with its center in the village of Fruit. In addition, the villages of the Krutovsky Village Council were included in the Ozyorsk Village Council: the villages of Internatsionalnaya , Kolodezki , Matveevka , Ozerki and the village of Sukhodol [3] .
The Ozery village council received the status of a rural settlement in accordance with the law of the Kursk region No. 48-ZKO “On municipalities of the Kursk region” of October 14, 2004 [4] .
