Hekaerg

Hekaerg ( dr. Greek Ἑκάεργος "far shooting") - the epithet of Apollo , as well as the name of the hero. According to one story, Hekaerg and Opid came to Delos from the Hyperboreans [1] and, according to the pseudo- Platonic dialogue Aksioh , took out two copper tablets from Hyperborea , which contain information about the fate of souls after death and which the magician Gobrius told Socrates [2] . According to other authors, Opid and Hekaerg are the educators of Apollo and Artemis , and then their priests [3] .
