Haon ( dr. Greek Χάων ) - in ancient Greek mythology, the Trojan, by whose name Gelen became king, named the region in Epirus Haon [1] .
According to versions of myths, Haon is a brother or friend of Helen , who was either accidentally killed by him on a hunt or sacrificed himself in a prayer of comrades during a plague or sea storm. [2]
