Jeffrey David “Jeff” Fahey is an American film and television actor who became famous as the performer of the role of Job Smith in the movie The Lawnmower Man (1992) and Frank Lapidus in the television series Lost .

Biography
Jeffrey David Fahey was born on November 29, 1952 in Olin , New York . His parents are of Irish - American descent [1] . He is the sixth of thirteen brothers and sisters. He grew up in Buffalo , graduated from Father Baker's High School . At seventeen, he left home and traveled hitchhiking [2] . He studied at the ballet school.
Fahey began performing, winning a dance scholarship at the Joffery Ballet at the age of 25. He has performed in theaters throughout the United States and in the United Kingdom. He got his first major role (Gary Corelli) in the popular television opera One Life To Live.
In 1985, he received the role of Tyree in the movie " Silverado ." In 1992, Fahey and Pierce Brosnan starred in the movie The Lawnmower Man , and in 1995 he starred in the television series The Bailiff . Since 2008, Jeff Fehey has been playing Frank Lapidus in the American drama series Lost . Frank is a helicopter pilot , but later it turns out that he worked as an airplane pilot. He first appears at the beginning of the fourth season and is removed as a guest actor until the fifth . In the sixth season, the hero of Jeff becomes one of the main characters [3] .
