Story
Lone stewardess Monty Macleod and a 10-year-old Pakistani boy, Omar Hassan, meet aboard a plane that landed in Longview , Texas , on the morning of September 11, 2001. The departure is canceled, and when she finds out that the boy’s father works at the World Trade Center . Monty decides to take him to New York , towards an unknown future. During their journey through the boundless “heart” of the United States, when terrorist acts follow one after another, Monty and Omar help each other to recognize the importance of tolerance, atonement, harmony and hope.
