Biography
Ralph Greenson was a personal psychoanalyst of Hollywood stars , in particular Frank Sinatra , Vivien Leigh , Marilyn Monroe . The death of the latter brought to life the theory of Greenson's involvement in it [2] [3] , as well as about his wrong actions as a doctor (however, this has never been proved). Was the prototype of the protagonist of the film Captain Newman, MD .
Born in Switzerland.
In 1924 he left for the USA. He graduated from high school in New York and Columbia University . In 1934 he received MD at the University of Bern [4] .
Ralph Greenson was a professor of psychiatry at the University of California School of Medicine , a professor of psychoanalysis. [five]
