Story
It's already been a year since Mary Alice Young's suicide. Much fell into place, and the people of Wisteria Lane realized that each of their neighbors had something to hide. So with the Applewright family, Betty ( Alfrey Woodard ) and her son Matthew ( Mahcad Brooks ), not everything is clean - why did they move into a new house in the cover of the night? What strange sounds come from the basement of their house? What secret is connected with the death of Melanie Foster ( Joy Bisco ) - ex-girlfriend Matthew? Breaking their brains over these questions, bosom friends Susan, Bree, Lynette and Gabrielle simultaneously solve their own problems.
After the death of Rex, Bree tries not to lose heart, because her husband’s mother, Phyllis Van De Camp ( Shirley Knight ), who is still a lady, will come to the funeral. And after the funeral, it turns out that Rex was poisoned. Police suggest that the killers are Bree and her lover, pharmacist George Williams ( Roger Bart ). Daniel begins to meet with Matthew, and Andrew seems to have completely unbelted and allows himself to be inadmissible. He even tries to get out of the custody of his mother and get his money. Bree herself understands that she has become an alcoholic, and in order not to lose her son, she must attend meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous. There she meets charming Peter McMillan ( Lee Terguson ). They start a romance. But here, Andrew surpasses himself - his act, committed after he learned that Peter is also a member of Anonymous Sexualists, becomes the last straw in Bree’s patience.
Susan doesn’t spoil life either - after Zack tried to kill Mike , the boy runs. Mike himself, having learned that Zach is his son, is ready to find him by any means. However, Susan does not like the idea that the unbalanced boy will be constantly next to Julie . Therefore, she buys a one-way ticket to Zach to his distant relatives in Utah. Upon learning this, Mike terminates the engagement, and Susan again remains heartbroken. However, not for long - Dr. Ron McCready ( Jay Harington ) shows interest in Susan . Everything would be fine, but Susan is found to have a “wandering spleen” and an urgent operation is needed. And since Susan has no insurance, she agrees to marry Carl again. Then they begin a short affair, although Karl seems to have been engaged to Idi. And from her mother Sophie ( Leslie Ann Warren ), Susan learns that her father Addison Prudy ( Paul Dooley ) lives quite nearby.
Working days and nights, Lynette worries about her children left at home under the supervision of Tom. The fact that the ardent careerist and boss Lynette, Nina Fletcher ( Joel Fisher ), wants to become her faithful friend does not soften the feeling of longing. But since Lynette does not want to anger the boss and even less lose her job, she is forced to go to the bar every night and “hook” men for her new “best friend”, while Tom is thinking about returning to work when a kindergarten is opened in the office for staff.
Gabriel is also going through hard times - after John admitted to Carlos that he is Gaby’s lover, the lawyer makes it clear that Solis’s case may not be the easiest, considering all of Carlos’s “sins”. However, soon the lawyer seeks his release on bail of the Catholic Church, in the person of the nun - sister Mary ( Melinda Page Hamilton ). Gaby realizes that she has a rival. And the only way to get Carlos back is to have a baby. After an accident in which Gaby lost a child, and the mysterious inhabitant of the Applewit cellar goes to a clinic for the mentally ill, Solis decide to adopt a child who is about to be born to a stripper Libby ( Nicole Hilz ). Only there is one problem - the real father of the child does not know, and who is he?
And Go is obsessed with only one desire - to take revenge on Susan , who took away Karl from her and burned her house.
