Lineup

  • HSR (1987) - The first car in which Mitsubishi combined automatic motion control systems,

braking and orientation depending on road conditions and weather. [2] The car was equipped with a 2.0-liter 16-valve turbocharged engine. With a power of 299 hp HSR had a speed of about 300 km / h.

  • HSR-II (1989) - The second generation of the prototype had a more streamlined body and at the same time was equipped

moving parts with spoilers that change drag from 0.20 to 0.40, depending on the angle of attack . The machine can independently respond to centerlines and road signs, as well as identify and distinguish obstacles in the path and around. And in accordance with the information received, she herself chooses the desired speed and direction. For this, three on-board systems are used in the car: television, infrared and ultrasonic sonar . [3] Many of the technical solutions used in the Mitsubishi HSR concepts were used in production cars of the GTO series. [four]

  • HSR-III (1991) - The third car in the HSR series was powered by the world's smallest production V6 engine

1.6 liter. 6A10 [5]

  • HSR-IV (1993) - Forced 182-strong 1.6-liter V6 in the fourth-generation car, led in

all- wheel drive , besides the brake system was equipped with ABS . [6]

  • HSR-V (1995) - The fifth-generation Targa body had a crag roof. It was the first time in a car

Demonstrated gasoline engine with direct fuel injection . [7]

  • HSR-VI (1997) - Equipped with a 2.4 liter version of a gasoline engine with direct fuel injection , the sixth generation of the HSR series was able to steer four wheels, equipped with the proprietary active yaw control system , as well as traction control and automatic vehicle control system.
