Chatamba ( born Tchatamba ) - a group of oil fields in Gabon , which is located in the Atlantic Ocean . Opened in 1990 .
The group includes Chatamba (Tchatamba), Chatamba-Marin (Tchatamba Marin), Chatamba-West (Tchatamba West) and Chatamba-South (Tchatamba South). Oil content is associated with Cretaceous deposits . Initial oil reserves are 150 million tons.
The operator of the field is Marathon Oil (56%). Other participants are Devon Energy (22%) and Tullow Oil (22%). Oil production in 2008 amounted to 2 million tons.
