Norwegian Railway Club

The Norwegian Railway Club ( Norwegian Norsk Jernbaneklubb ) is a public organization uniting Norwegian railway transport enthusiasts .

The club was founded on May 22, 1969 . The headquarters is located in Oslo , at the Brun railway station , and branches are scattered throughout the country. The club publishes its magazine På Sporet ( On Rails ), which is published once a quarter, and also publishes books.

Club members are involved in preserving the railway heritage. The club runs two museum railway lines: Krederbanen (26 km) and Gamle Vossebanen (18 km).

On its website, the club collects information about stations and rolling stock, collects photos.

The club is a member of the Norwegian Cultural Foundation .
