Zelepukin, Ivan Grigorievich

Ivan G. Zelepukin (1924-1993) - participant of the Great Patriotic War , Hero of the Soviet Union , commander of the mortar company control department of the 202nd Guards Rifle Regiment of the 68th Guards Rifle Division, sergeant guard. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1949 .

Biography

Born on September 9, 1924 in Atkarsk (now the Saratov region ). Before the war, he worked in the Atkarsk engine depot as an electrician.

  • In 1942 he was drafted into the Red Army . From August 1943 until the end of the war he fought on the Voronezh , 1st Ukrainian , 1st Baltic fronts.
  • September 25, 1943 took part in the battle for the Dnieper . For courage and bravery shown during the crossing of the Dnieper River on January 10, 1944, was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union .
  • In 1947, he was demobilized from the Soviet Army.
  • In 1951 he graduated from law school and the first course of the Saratov Law Institute. D.I. Kursogo , moved to Voronezh .
  • In 1957 he received higher education, lived in Voronezh , worked in prosecution authorities.

He died on August 26, 1993 . He was buried in Voronezh at the Kominternovsky cemetery . A memorial plaque was installed on the house where he lived [1] .
