Vyshneolkhovatsky village council is a rural settlement in the Shchigrovsky district of the Kursk region . The administrative center is the village of Apukhtina .

Geography
The settlements of the Vyshneolkhovatsky Village Council are located at the source of the Olkhovatets River, a tributary of Kosorzhi .
History
On January 5, 1961 , in accordance with the decision of the regional executive committee, the village of Vyazovoye and the village of Staraya Gat from the Prigorodnensky village council were transferred to the Vyshneolkhovatsky village council [2] .
On December 11, 1967, the village of Vyazovoe and the village of Old Gat were allocated to the Vyazovsky village council [3] .
In April 1978, the village of Lezhenki of the Vyshneolkhovatsky village council was virtually excluded from accounting documents [3] .
The Vyshneolkhovatsky village council received the status of a rural settlement in accordance with the law of the Kursk region No. 48-ZKO "On municipalities of the Kursk region" dated October 14, 2004 [4] .
Transport
The Vyshneolkhovatsky village council is connected by a highway with the city of Shchigry and the settlements of the Nikolskiy village council .
