Alpine skiing
8 athletes (5 men and 3 women) took part in the alpine skiing competitions from Liechtenstein. Andreas Wenzel and Ursula Conzett won bronze medals in the and respectively.
Hanni Wenzel, two-time champion of the 1980 Olympic Games , one of the most powerful generalists in the history of skiing, was unable to take part in the Games in Sarajevo, as she was disqualified by the International Ski Federation for signing advertising contracts directly, bypassing the Liechtenstein Ski Federation [2] .
