Gyula Neukomm (Neikom, Hungarian. Neukomm Gyula ), also Julius Neukomm ( German Julius Neukomm ; April 22, 1892 , Vrsac - October 9, 1957 , Budapest ) - Hungarian chess composer of German origin; international arbiter ( 1956 ). Professor of mathematics. One of the founders of the FIDE Permanent Commission on Chess Composition and its first president (1956-1957). Founder (together with N. Kovacs) of the national school of problems on cooperative mats .
Since 1906 he published about 750 compositions of various genres. Particular attention was paid to two-way block tasks and problems on a cooperative mat.
