Vlashim ( Czech. Vlašim , formerly German. Wlaschim ) is the second most populated city in the Benesov region (after Benesov , in fact) of the Czech Republic , one of the municipalities with extended powers . The population of the city is about 12 210 people (according to data for 2009).
