Edition
March 10, 2009 the group published the cover and tracklist of their new album [4] .
During the last concerts with material from their previous album, the group performed the song “Daughter of the Moonlight”.
We already performed this song at our last concerts in different cities, and everywhere it was very well received. Therefore, despite the fact that this is perhaps one of the simplest compositions from our new album, we decided that it was with her that we should begin to introduce you to our new material. We hope she will not leave anyone indifferent.
On March 16, 2009, the group posted it as an Internet single as 192 kbps on its official website and for free listening on the VKontakte page [5] .
After 10 days, the second Internet single became available on the band’s official website. They became the song "The Righteous of the Light." Simultaneously with the composition, the video trailer for the upcoming album became available on Youtube .
10 days later, on April 3, 2009, two days before the release of the album, the group published the third Internet single on its official website. They became the composition "Goths go to Rome", dedicated to the capture and plunder of Rome by the army of Goths in 410
April 5, 2009 the album was released in Russia by the Russian label Irond [6] .
On June 1, 2010, the European release of the album took place on the Dutch label Apollon Records . The group refused to rewrite their songs in English for the European release, making the publication of the Russian version of the album one of the main conditions of their agreement with Apollon Records [7] . Negotiations and coordination lasted almost a year.
Album Presentation
On April 5, 2009, the Moscow presentation of the album took place at the Moscow Plan B club as part of the Iron Blast festival. The concert was organized by Natalya Ryzhko with three friends. They selected the participating groups according to the recommendations of Irond. The performance of the groups “Samati” and “Alchemy” was originally planned, but since they could not perform at the festival, they were replaced by the groups “Aventile” and “Rosa Infra”.
The concert was divided into two parts - newcomers and little-known teams (“Rosa Infra”, “Artania”, “Torment”, “Aventail”) and well-known groups (“Vodana Road”, “Andem”, “Everlost”, “Silvana” ) It lasted about 7 hours. At the concert, the AnDem group performed the sixth of eight participating groups. First they performed songs from the album “Moonlight Daughter”, then Juliana changed her snow-white dress to dark (the other members were immediately dressed in dark) and the group performed songs from the first album. The male part was performed by Arkady Pakhomov [8] . Elena Soboleva performed on backing vocals.
Also at the concert, viewers were asked to guess which two songs from the CD were written on the basis of literary works (the correct answers are “Guardian of swords” and “Master and Margarita”).
On April 9, a radio presentation of the album “Moonlight Daughter” and an interview with Natalia Ryzhko took place as part of the Iron Age heavy music radio show [9] .
Distribution
The first batch of discs became available for sale at the presentation of the album, which took place on April 5 at the Moscow club “Plan B”. April 12, the album became available for public sale. [9] .
On September 1, in anticipation of the new concert season, the group posted material on the Internet for free listening on their pages in MySpace and Vkontakte networks [10]

Criticism of Religious Subjects
Despite the fact that religious subjects were touched upon on the first album, the song “Righteous of the World” became the most “religious”, which caused a rather mixed reaction from the public [11] . In an interview with 1Rock magazine, Natalia Ryzhko said:
I just can’t understand why people are so excited about the lyrics of this song? It was written under the influence of books telling about the Inquisition that reigned in medieval Europe. On the debut album, we already had a composition dedicated to this subject - “Nine Circles of Hell”. But for some reason she did not cause such a heated discussion. Attitude to the Christian religion is, it seems to me, a very personal question, and besides, I can’t answer for everyone. I do not hide my religion: I was baptized in the Orthodox religion [11]
.
Album criticism
Tony Cannella in his review on the site Femmemetal.net put the album 8.5 points out of 10, and responded about the album like this:
The level of performance of music and songs presented on this CD (as well as on the first one) is at a very, very high level. It is noticeable that the group put heart and soul into each track, which affected the overall quality of the material. “Moonlight Daughter” is definitely a worthy successor to a great debut album [12] .
Mike “MetalMike” Bird writes in a review on The Metal Crypt:
"Moonlight Daughter" is a great album. Headed by the talented Yulianna Savchenko, singing exclusively in Russian, “AnDem” does not set out to remove the “ Nightwish ” of the Tarja era from the throne in symphonic metal , but deserves a place at the head of the table [13] .
